This Pokemon Legends: Arceus trailer has no right to be this scary
The latest Pokemon Legends: Arceus trailer is two proceedings of honorable-functioning found footage horror teasing some dangerous encounters in the Hisui area.
"A researcher has made a rare discovery in the Canalave Library: some mysterious footage that appears to document the landscape of the Hisui region," the trailer description reads. "Delight canvass this footage and report back with your findings – they may prove useful during your adventures in Pokémon Legends: Arceus."
What are our findings? We aren't going knocked out there, that's determination number one. Severely, what is this Pokemon trailer? The heavy breathing, the scratchy photographic film grain, the cliffhanger ending. This is a horror short disregarding how you look at it. We've seen plenty of Halloween events this season, only we didn't gestate Pokemon of all things to takings the spooky spirit this far. Sure, we joked some that alarming Ursaring encounter, but this trailer is on a altogether other level.
The researcher in that footage was unfashionable taking in the snow and Pokemon only to be attacked past… some kinda dog-like Pokemon? Helium initial mistook it for a Growlithe and a Vulpix (possibly the Hisuian and Galarian regions, respectively, given the covered environment), so it could Be about sort of livid dogtooth. That aforementioned, the only Pokemon that are really 'shown' in this trailer are wispy brown smears on film, then who knows what this matter could've been. It's probably not the rumored Hisuian Mew, though, because whatever it is, it actually walks through the snow at the finish of the trailer, whereas Mew is better-known to only float around.
The Canalave Library where this footage was apparently unearthed is placed in Sinnoh, where it was introduced as part of Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum. Evidently, it was as wel around back in the early Sinnoh era in which Pokemon Legends: Arceus is set. The approaching open-humans game is completely about examining the inexplicable Hisui region, and after seeing this preview, we're non sure we'Re going to look-alike what we find.
