what's the point of ea access on steam then? just to show your steam friends you're playing ea access stuff you could've gotten on origin, and will still be opening origin to use? are my current origin saves compatitable with what will become steam versions of apex? seems a bit weird since premier is still origin exclusive afaik

I'll never understand why PC gamers have become so lazy that the concept of using more than one single application on their computers is a dealbreaker for them. Like clicking things is too much work for you all. Man you kids would not have survived in the TeamSpeak or Ventrilo, or GameSpy arcade days lol.

At the end of the day, it is a video game. No one is entitled to play video games. If you want to play it, you'll do what you gotta do to play it. If you want to complain, well, there's essentially nothing anyone could do to stop you from doing that.

The point for me personal is the following:
If i want to play a game on Uplay, i need to run this launcher and still need to wait, till the game is patched etc.

Steam is the only application i´m runnning all over, so if I want to play a game from another launcher i need to start that one and need to wait, till the game has updated.

Speaking of kids, back then you didn't even need launchers to play games, nowadays you need 2 launchers minimum with its telemetry to launch, update game two times and play games. So your teamspeak or gamespy days are proof that this kind of practice doesn't live long enough.

I think your logic failed to connect there. The days when there were no apps for games? You mean when there weren't really any online games other than Quake, and certainly no voice chat? If you'd prerfer that to having options, then idk what to tell you

Yeah, I'm still failing to see how that's not just some meaningless first world problem. You can set all of those apps to launch when you startup your computer so they all update alongside steam. But yeah, that's part of being a PC gamer is that things need to get updated.

I mean, there's a reason more people play on console. It's cheaper, easier, and much more accessible to people who don't like dealing with computers such as yourself
